Photos before & after the wide edge security project (overall 58 lbm. bulwark ca. 500 lbm. sleepers)
Developer - Hobro Kommune v/ architect Annie Eggert-Hansen
About the project:
Hobro's old brewery closed in the 1970s. Since the entire complex with yeast basements, car ports, warehouses, ice house, brewhouse, garden and private residence has been preserved to keep the old industrial environment.
Ishuset in the past were used for storage of ice taken from the fjord, is very close to the edge of Vester Fjord which has led to water over time has taken more and more of the land between the house and the fjord. To stop this, and beautify the area were initiated by architect Annie Eggert-Hansen from Hobro Municipality initiated the project.
Robinia wood for border security has been chosen because it has good properties of water and soil contact. Subsequent seen before and after pictures and information about how SkovTrup performed the task.
